the birds
We hosted our first charity Sub Rosa for a group of friends who purchased the dinner at the Boys and Girls Club gala. As a nod to the spooky Friday the 13th date, we planned a Hitchcock "The Birds" themed dinner in the basement pub room of One Eleven South Main, an historic home and event space in Bridgewater, Virginia. Perfectly sized for this group of 14, we lit up the table and fireplace with candles, crows, roses and even a skull or two. Each course of the menu featured some bird element. We loved that the group added their own touch by asking everyone to bring a bottle of wine with a story behind it to share.
